Managing Conflicts at the Workplace

This programme equips employees with essential conflict resolution skills to address workplace disputes proactively. Participants will learn effective communication strategies, negotiation techniques, and facilitation and mediation methods to foster positive working relationships.

Through real-life scenarios and interactive learning activities, this course aims to empower employees to navigate challenging situations with confidence and professionalism, preventing conflict situations from escalating and endangering themselves at work and to contribute to a harmonious and productive work environment.

By the end of this programme, learners will be able to:

  • Apply team roles and responsibilities, in line with the principles and practice of conflict resolution, to minimise potential sources of conflict in team performance.
  • Apply facilitation, communication and negotiation skills to manage conflicts, monitor and review agreed actions to resolve conflicts.
  • Write reports, including comprehensive details of the conflicts, the parties involved, discussions with all parties and the resolution to keep proper records on conflict management cases in accordance with regulatory requirements and organisational procedures.

Interested applicants must hold a diploma or a degree in any discipline.

    SSG Funding for Singapore Residents and Permanent Residents

    As an Approved Training Organisation (ATO), this training programme is accredited and is subsidised by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).

    Company-Sponsored

    Course fee subsidies and absentee payroll funding are available for employers sponsoring employees who are either Singapore Citizens or Permanent Resident. Company-sponsored trainees who wish to claim programme funding must comply strictly with the funding guidelines set out in the SSG Terms & Conditions. For more information, please click here.

    SkillsFuture Credit cannot be used for company-sponsored payments.

    Self-Sponsored Individuals

    Course fee subsidies are available for self-sponsoring individuals who are either Singapore Citizens or Permanent Resident. SkillsFuture Credit can be used for payments.

    Please note that SMC courses do not fall under the SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) tier.
