Fundamentals of Negotiation for Healthcare Professionals

This practical one-day programme introduces healthcare professionals to the fundamentals of interest-based negotiation, equipping them with structured tools to manage difficult conversations, align stakeholder interests, and achieve sustainable outcomes in complex healthcare environments.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

  • Identify negotiation outcomes in commercial situations to establish the organisation’s desired position in the negotiation.
  • Identify roles and responsibilities needed to support negotiation objectives.
  • Prepare relevant background information to understand other parties’ position.
  • Use negotiation processes and techniques to assist in achieving desired negotiation outcomes.
