Singapore International Mediation Institute Credentialing System

The Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) is an independent professional standards body for mediation in Singapore and the region. The SIMI credentialing scheme is an approved certification scheme. This scheme recognises the experience of professional mediators who practise cross-border mediation in Asia.

SIMI recognises SMC as a SIMI Registered Training Provider (SIMI RTP) and SIMI Qualifying Assessment Program (SIMI QAP). The recognition allows SMC to train and assess individuals for the purposes of becoming a SIMI Accredited Mediator or a SIMI Certified Mediator.

The SIMI credentialing scheme has four tiers. Mediators may apply for any of the tiers depending on their level of experience. For more information on SIMI, please click here.
